Our friend here on Critical Thinking, Science & Philosophy!, Jamie OBrien sums up all of the details in such philosophical and methodological doctrines that has its flaws, and for us to not be engaged in knee-jerk blind-faith thinking, and here are 6 exemplifications where she stated in her video: Taboo->This is a vehement prohibition of an action phenomenon based on the belief that such behavior is either too sacred or too accursed for ordinary people to undertake, under threat of supernatural punishment. Such prohibitions are present in nearly all societies around the world. The term comes from the Tongan tapu or Fijian related to Maori-tapu, etc. Propaganda->Is a form of communication aimed towards influencing the attitude of a population toward some causes or position. Propaganda is information thats not impartial and used primarily to influence an audience and enhance an agenda, often by presenting facts selectively to encourage a particular synthesis, or using loaded messages to produce an emotional rather than rational responses to informated interpreted. Truth->This is most often used to mean being in accord with fact or reality, or fidelity to an original or to a standard or ideal. The commonly understood opposite of truth/fact is falsehoods, which correspondingly can also take on a logical factual or ethical meaning. Postmodernism->This is a methodological movement that started its evolution in the mid-20th century after WWII, in the arts, architecture and criticism that was a departure antithetical to modernism. Postmodernism includes skeptical interpretations of cultures, literature, arts, philosophy, history, economics, architecture, fiction and literary critique. left wing->are political philosophical positions or activities that accept or support social equality, often in opposition to social hierarchy and social inequality. Its typically justified on the basis of concern for those in society whore perceived as disadvantaged relative to others and assumption that theyre unjustified inequalities that need to be reduced or abolished. right wing->are political philosophical positions or activities that view some or social hierarchies or social inequalities as either inevitable, natural, normal or desirable typically justifying this position on the basis of natural law, tradition or the status-quo. With right wing spectrum, views differ on whether hierarchy and inequality stem from traditional social difference or from competition in market economics!
