Our friends at the Apple Blossom School are hosting an Interactive Parent Education Seminar this Thursday on Giving Children a Positive & Purposeful Home Environment: As a parent you have a big job. You are the one who help your child grow up to feel a sense of belonging and significance. You teach life and social skills, and you help them feel loved. This parenting seminar is based on the principles of Adlerian psychology and teachings of Positive Discipline and was designed to help you teach your children to become responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their communities in a respectful and encouraging manner. This seminar will address the challenges of bridging communication gaps, defusing power struggles, avoiding the dangers of praise, promoting a sense of accountability and self-respect while instilling a message of love. It will also help you get to the core of your child’s misbehavior and to bring more joy and purpose into parenting.
