Our goal was to have Karsyn walking by two but now it is two and a half! She is progressing really well and is finally starting to put weight on her legs but by two, which is only a little over two months away, is out of the question. We talked to the physical therapist tonight about putting her in braces to help with her feet placement and low muscle tone. We are leaning towards the braces at this point. Normally they like to wait to use braces until the child is cruising more but we are to the point to where we think the braces will allow her to progress more. However, even though she is not walking.... we are finally somewhat getting to experience what having a mobile toddler around is like! She is rolling/scooting/army crawling every where! It does not take her much time to get around. Needless to say, we have to get the house baby proofed. Yes she is 21 months old and we have not baby proofed the house yet!
