Our great democracies still tend to think that a stupid man is more likely to be honest than a clever man. Bertrand Russell The concept of democracy has never been without its critiques as any ideologies. Very recently a British comedian, Russell Brand, has taken his swipe against democracy condemning the politicians, who pretend to, but never ever represent the mass who elect them, so as he said going to vote is simply wastage of time and energy. Of course it is a matter of long intellectual debate to so something against most popular form of Gov. Nothing wrong in it to debate, to look at the loop holes, to repair these and then to move forward. But our problem is our democracy and its practice inside and outside the party, in the parliament and on the street is 100% perfect, so we do not need any improvement here. We have one ( gonotontrer manos konna another aposhin netri), so who cares? Joi Bangla/ Bangldesh jindabad: these two slogans are the bedrock of our democracy! !!!
