Our heart goes out to people stranded in J&K and their relatives desperately praying for their well being. We are doing whatever possible in these trying times and hope the situation comes under control soon. Here is our sincere attempt as a contribution to #JKFloodRelief. • We have completely waived off the cancellation fee for our customers and are moving them to flights as per their request • Special fares are being offered to travel out of Srinagar Srinagar – Delhi: Rs 2803 all-in, one way Srinagar – Mumbai: Rs 4848 all-in , one way Srinagar – Jammu: Rs 1948 all-in, one way Srinagar – Chandigarh: Rs 1999 all-in, one way Srinagar – Bangalore: Rs 5400 all-in, one way Srinagar - Ahmedabad: Rs 4707 all-in, one way • Our call centres are ensuring that communication is seamless • We are also deputing staff from Delhi and other stations to ensure a hassle free travel for our customers • Customers who have not been able to book a ticket earlier are getting on the spot tickets. We are issuing manual tickets at modest fares. • We have already transported over 5.5 tons of relief material absolutely free of cost • We have also been providing assistance to NGOs and others who have requested help for airlifting medicines and supplies for free • All excess baggage charges for Srinagar being waived off and full refunds being given for those travelling to/from Srinagar up to 30th Sept 2014 if they want to cancel. No cancellation fees are being charged. • We are ensuring that some relief and food reaches our staff who are also stranded • Company doctor and medical supplies being flown in. Each day, a member of the SpiceJet senior management is commissioned to go to Srinagar to oversee and assist the relief work.
