Our heartbreaking time in life.. still goes on... our recent experiences at St. Camillus... Unbelievable but its actually TRUE... YES>> Law Firms will be notified....I promised to care for my brother, since our mother passed. WE saved tax payer monies for over 30 years -- $ 3 million dollars if my brother was in a assisted living residence: ( $10,000 per month x 12 months x 30 years ); At this time, it’s costing over $13,000.00 month for him to be at a temp. facility/ St. Camillus/Syracuse NY. Most recently, Observations on Sunday, October 5/ Patrick’s Birthday, Friday, October 17 and Week of October 19 - 25 his care at St. Camillus is in decline; He was admitted at 163 pounds/ July 24, 2014 for a 2nd carpel tunnel operation, that was “botched” on the first operations by Auburn Community Hospital and a Dr. Swift. and now at this time is 205 pounds; The first operation, Patrick was sent home, with suggestions by my thoughts, Patrick’s service coordinator and public health nurse who all expressed, he needed to go to a rehab. after the operation. The arrogance of Dr. Swift would not submit to a rehab, therefore, Patrick needed a 2nd operation, that did fail to recover his hand’s ability; St. Camillus concentration at this time, was only to rehab. his hand, did not address Patrick’s physical strengths, needed to keep his health and well being in decent shape. This facility does not do much on physical exercise programs ( 20 minutes – 5 days a week), Patrick can tell you that he could swim the length of a pool, travel in his chair over our country roads for hours in a day, and now cannot not find the strength, not the air; In addition, this past week, he was admitted to the local hospital emergency room, due to the fact, he was short of breath, suffered fatigue, since I addressed the issues of his weight gains and exercise neglect. I continue to express concerns with facility officials. WE need to become a family again,.. My care has been supported by his primary physician, who cannot intervene due to doctor’s ethics.. Sad but True... I continue to conflict and argue with St. Camillus’s doctor’s decisions with his care. My brother’s recent emergency room experience will confirm his results, including my observations to his care have been ignored. Hospital officials have agreed to my assessments, including diet and nutrition observation, that St. Camillus will not limit eating habits to one (1) serving if their patients want more; They state it’s against the law, per Beverly Griffin/Head Nurse of the facility. I find this hard to comprehend, since wellness, exercise and good diets prevent obesity. I was recently reprimanded by hospital officials, On Thursday, October 23. 2014, regarding my care procedures… since I brought a message pad for my brother’s swollen legs, which helps his conditions; They state it will cause ulcers/skin breakage; In fact that I have cared for my brother for many years, many years of experience, I argued the fact and proceeded to use, as when I am there for him. On Thursday, Oct. 23, the facility brought in a trapeze to his bed, now to find he needs exercise, due to his recent visit to the emergency room, who will verify Patrick’s conditions are in need of exercise for weight loss and muscle building; All documented and photographed. In continue to argue with physicians; On Tuesday, October 28, 2014 AGAIN, my brother has been re admitted to the hospital, because of his swollen feet; He has been going to University Hospital at Community General, Today St. Camillus Sends him to the wrong hospital; I waited patiently for a call from the hospital since 2:00 pm.. Calling Community General, and finally Called St. Camillus to find where my brother was.. They sent him without an aide and to the wrong hospital .. Our story does not stop… WE need housing. Before my brother’s conditions gets worst.. St. Camillus neglects to care for his health and well being, including to address the issues of his weight gain, exercise programs and now the swollen feet; PLEASE HEAR OUR PRAYERS... The Corruption and Neglect – unjust/ taking advantage of vulnerable special needs people -- unfairness has caused heartbreaking hardship to our family, jointly caused by said Governmental Offices of Cayuga County - Cayuga County Health and Human Services, who neglected to understand our living environments, our shelter and other living expenses – Out of pocket expenses for the care of Patrick -- No one realizes.. Thanks to other offices of Cayuga County New York who also participated in the loss of our family home. , a home my brother and I lived since we were children. We were in the process of major home repairs and modifications for my brother at the time of our decline and losing our home. Presently going through in need of legal assistance to get us through these difficult times. AND now facing further decline in my brother’s health at the rehabilitation center is more heartbreaking. We continue to be denied applications on rental agreements, housing .. due to our low credit scores. We just want to be joined back together, and be a family again and need help, We lost our home to a tax foreclosure, with no place to go and most of our belongings had to be left behind, since we had no monies for a place for storage. Starting over in life has been heartbreaking struggle. Loosing much of our personal belongings, and memories of our life are now gone... Having my brother’s care in a nursing facility, who neglects to understand his needs is upsetting. Nursing home neglect is common, but we don’t want to be a part of any further decline in Patrick’s care. The winter months are now approaching... Please hear our Prayers... Luv and peace. .to everyone .. xoxoxo thank you... We would be happy to discuss further details if anyone questions our needs...@ #315 – 209 7880...
