Our hearts are heavy, in part by our FABULOUS staff. A young lady and 3 young children came into the restaurant, very quiet & just sat & asked for a menu. After about 20 minutes they got up and left. Our cook Troy felt something wasnt right. The children had torn clothes and were barefoot. He followed them out and approached them; spoke privately and invited them back in. Immediately he told me that they were homeless and Elizabeth, our cashier, jumped right in and gave them beverages while Troy made a meal for them. I went to the table and said hello and she just smiled and said gracias ---I always tell my staff, dont judge. You never know what people have been through or where they are going, and if we can do our part, when necessary, life is full. ❤️
