Our history is a sad story.From who we were as a regional nation, to being confined to a reservation with a leadership controlled by government,is indeed the saddest story in Dominica. However, what deepens the sadness of this story is the willingness of government appointed representatives (Our Own Blood) who has lost their value in heritage and exchange their future for insignificant monetary resources. Our Leaders in the last decade has not only sat and watch the demise of their own, but took part (with silence)as Carib Reserve has been the Cash Cow of the Government and “chosen ones”. (They have used our indigenous name to finance their pleasures and educate their kids while our kids are laughed at every time we walk the stairs of ministry seeking educational assistance.Their has never been a sadder moment in our history. The Key of success does not lie on the Government of Dominica. This election should not be about politics (we have heard every possible promise over the last 20 years) this election should be about survival.
