Our house has become very quiet over the past couple of hours as family has left to return home and the kiddos are upstairs enjoying their loot. Christmas this year was far different than last. I much rather the noise of the kids and family than that of the pumps, alarms and machines in the hospital. I love seeing Mickey entertaining everyone rather than laying in a bed. These last two Christmases have brought memories that will last a lifetime, all different but impactful memories. I cannot help but be content in all I have and, more importantly, in knowing that my family is happy and healthy. Merry Christmas everyone, I hope that your Christmas has been as joyous as mine.
