Our houses have a signature smell, this sometimes is not something we can help, its dependent on how well we clean, what we cook, the amount of air that circulates in your home, the stuff in your cupboards....etc..... Your home can have a fresh, light, musty, wet dog or just baked scent......because u live in this home, u may no longer smell this Signature Smell, but believe me, when someone first walks into your home, they will.....so here are a couple of recipes for making your own air freshner......this is also great for those of us with sinus and asthma, as these are not toxic at all but normal household ingredients......so u need a pot, 3/4 full with water, for a sweet smelling scent, add oranges, peaches, apricot (sweet smelling fruit) add some spices (anything that smells good to you) and maybe vanilla......bring to boil .....wait for it to cool, pour into a spray bottle and keep in fridge....another recipe, 4 sprigs fresh rosemary, teaspoon vannila extract and I sliced lemon......boil, let cool, refrigerate and use for about a month......a minty scent, 2 sliced limes, 1 teaspoon vannila extract, 1 teaspoon peppermint extract.......do the same thing, cool, refrigerate and happy cleaning folks.....xo......
