Our identity and our peace are not found in ourselves. These are only found in Jesus. Beloved, the point is this: God is not looking at you to measure you. He is looking at Jesus. He is not looking at your good works to give you brownie points. And He is not looking at your bad works to punish you. Once you put your faith in Jesus Christ, God sees the beauty of His Son when He sees you. As Jesus is, so are you in this world. This is the key to living with an unshakable peace! Focus on Jesus... Because Jesus is the heir of all things...so are you. (Romans 8:17) Because Jesus is above all sickness and disease...so are you.(Ephesians 1:21) Because Jesus is loved by His Father...so are you.
