Our incompetent Commissioner of Health and Human Services writes, We do not live in a world of unlimited resources. If the Legislature votes to expand Medicaid, regardless of proposals that predict mythical savings to magically cover all costs, Maine will not be able to care for those most in need today or in the future. But how would she know? She gave a no-bid contract to the notorious Gary Alexander, who wrote a study loaded with errors, miscalculations and false premises. The Alexander study intentionally ignored saving and focused on costs alone and ignored job creation and economic growth generated. Mary Mayhem has never had any administrative experience or ability and she continues to do her masters political bidding, but her perpetual malfeasance costs Maine tax-payers $1 million a day in lost federal aid in addition to the millions lost because she fails to assure DHHS is up to federally specified standards. She is simply a failure and not a credible spokesperson!
