My life long experience is that in sixties, seventies, eighties, Indian print media like TOI, HT, IE, NH etc etc including magazines like Illustrated Weekly, India Today, Sunday etc etc were more honest and informative. Now since print media started providing photographs of writers and got glossy, the things are different there also.
