Our jazz quartet White Noise Quartets final performance for our - TopicsExpress

Our jazz quartet White Noise Quartets final performance for our regional tour ended last night with the opening of Yellowren Arts Festival 2014 that will last over the weekend. I fell in love with the rain and the audience that stayed despite the pour, and cheered through every song and our solos. A little girl ran out from the tentage to splosh in the water pools, and then in perfect rhythm and coordination, shook her lil booty to my song First Dance. I struggled with hearing Wenmings wonderful drumming against the persistent rain, but my heart danced with all that is organically happening. Wendy Phuas beautiful bass lines against the pitter patter and the lights created a space and a sound that i didnt want to end. So yes, it was a beautiful start from our gig at Artistry (12/7) to the festival. Heres my fave photo from last night. More photo/video updates soon! Heartfelt thanks to my family for coming to catch us at both SingJazz Club and the fest, and to all our dearest friends, old and new for being part of our tour. Much love to all of you. Blessings. If you and family are free this weekend, head down to Lower Seletar Reservoir Park for more music performances, workshops and more. Its not often you have a vibrant arts festival in the neighbourhood! More details: yraf.org
