Our judges should be impartial to wealth, fame or social status in their judgments because God is impartial to wealth, fame or social status in His judgment. Everyone has broken God’s laws and will face His judicial wrath. Being rich or famous won’t get you off the hook. And neither will being poor and victimised. Your only hope is not in money or sympathy, but in Jesus Christ. If you trust in Him, He faced God’s judgment in your place on the cross. Case closed: "You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor" (Leviticus 19:15).
