Our juvenile section has rapidly expanded over the last few years. 12/14 years ago we struggled to field any teams in our juvenile section when Paddy Christie was running the team that contained Sean Curry, Philly McMahon and Alan Hubbard to name a few. This team was closely followed by the team that had Jamesy McCarthy, Dean Rock and Jason Whelan... So you can see, the hard work done at juvenile level has rich rewards for the club and players alike. Our juvenile chairman Vinny Kelly, is quick to point out that this continued growth in our juvenile section needs huge financial support, so to get the backing of unicredit bank, is crucial in this regard. Our club secretary Dermot McMahon, who met with Michele DeCapitani, managing director of Unicredit Ireland, was delighted to hear of the banks wish to continue supporting the future of the club. This is a significant step forward for our clubs starlets and he continued the financial backing from such a strong institution safeguards the plans the club holds for our stars in the juvenile section.
