Our last night in Bulgaria so we went out for a meal with our lovely hosts Bertha and Fen to a local bistro type restaurant. We had: 4 pints draught lager 4 bottles of coca cola a white wine with lemonade And...... 2 large plates of salad with eggs, ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, olives etc all covered in cheese (of course) 1 plate of some salad made up of roasted peppers, tomatoes and a lump of cheese 2 plates of chips with no cheese 1 plate of chips with cheese 1 plate of chicken things (that is what the menu calls them although they did appear to be chicken breast pieces grilled 1 dish of potatoes with cream sauce and gammon 1 large plate of chicken nuggets 1 large plate chicken nuggets covered in sesame seeds 2 portions of pork ribs (more like pork chops with a single rib bone between the 2 plates) I portion blue cheese mushrooms 1 portion baked cheese with honey and walnuts I think that was all of it - all 6 of us shared it and the total bill came to just over 75 lev (which is a rather reasonable £30) - feeling rather full - how about you Fenwick, Sarah, Frank and Coral ?
