Our liberation is not destination—some place we arrive at. Our liberation will be the result of our ongoing contact and conversation between our people and our past, present and future realities-it will be raw, real, loving, brutally honest, terrible and beautiful. It will ask us to be and do. Differently. This struggle will ask us (is asking us) to struggle to BE all of who were were sent here to be—or not to be. To shake spears along with words. These collective efforts will be a spiral with a moving center-a pathways with multiple possibilities. We have to, first, listen, hear and then move with profound understanding of who we have been, who we are, who we still can be, and who we still must be if we are to complete our emancipation — Àdisà
