Our little Zoeys kidneys have failed. She is holding more and more - TopicsExpress

Our little Zoeys kidneys have failed. She is holding more and more fluids as a result and other systems are affected. She has been a brave little fighter but is becoming more uncomfortable. A 28 day/4 week birthday party for Zoey and her family is planned for 11 am today. At 2 pm her respirator tube will be removed. We expect, barring an outright miracle, that she will transition from Su and Drews arms to the arms of her Savior fairly shortly after. We are so grateful for the 28 days she was loaned to our family, when we didnt expect 28 hours the first day she joined us. This is a very sad day for us, but what an amazing day for Zoey, to see Jesus face to face, to snuggle in his arms with no poky lines to tether those little arms and legs, no more pain or lonely hours in the NICU, (and yes the nurses and staff were wonderful to her). By faith, all is well with Zoey, and is with us as well, but we are feeling very left behind. We thank you all for us supporting us to this incredibly difficult moment. We know we can count on your prayers as we travel what is almost surely this final mile on earth with our little girl, especially Drew and Su who will go through this experience alone with Zoey and the Lord. We continue to pray as King David in the Scriptures, who prayed without ceasing for his baby son until the moment baby was gone, and then he accepted Gods perfect will and said, I will go to him, he shall not return to me. Through the love of God our Savior, All will be well; Free and changeless is His favor; All, all is well. Precious is the blood that healed us; Perfect is the grace that sealed us; Strong the hand stretched out to shield us; All must be well. Though we pass through tribulation, All will be well; Ours is such a full salvation; All, all is well. Happy still in God confiding, Fruitful, if in Christ abiding, Holy through the Spirit’s guiding, All must be well. We expect a bright tomorrow; All will be well; Faith can sing through days of sorrow, All, all is well. On our Father’s love relying, Jesus every need supplying, Or in living, or in dying, All must be well. And He (Jesus), took (little children) up in his arms,...put His hands upon them, and blessed them. Mark 10:16
