Our little guy is having a good day today and wanted to show the world that he does get up now occasionally, and take a few steps on his own. As you can see (and hear) in the video, this gets all of us very excited because its baby steps like this that are taking Van Gogh in the right direction. Little Vinnie had a good breakfast this morning and he continues to have a very healthy appetite. He met with his all-time favorite veterinarian, Dr. Baris, after that for medications, wound cleaning, and his morning checkup. One front leg is actually looking better today and has new tissue growth over one of his wounds, which is great. His other front leg is a little more swollen which is not so great, but is to be expected. Vinnie decided that he didnt want to wait for us to move him out of the scab-cleaning center, so he decided to move himself. Obviously, its great to see that. That little bit of movement combined with eating his breakfast is really exhausting to him, so you can imagine how delicate and critical our little guy still is. He still has a very long, very tough road ahead of him, but were with him all the way. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers for our little guy. Please keep them coming!
