Our little munchkin Mickey is still in the hospital with some very serious injuries. He is doing better clinically; eating drinking peeing and pooping, but the doc was concerned that Mickey was not showing more physical activity. He repeated X-rays and saw that Mickey might have some neck damage. It shows a occipital separation which is where his skull has separated from his spine :( It is possible as swelling goes down that this can fix itself. If not , we will of course explore surgery and any other options. Mickey also has a possible scapula (shoulder) fracture too. He has drains in his more serious wounds and is fighting the fight. Mickey will remain hospitalized so as to allow his body to heal from the trauma and hopefully allow him to stay quiet and improve on his own.
