Our little poppet Gemma was adopted by her new Mum and Dad Heather and Peter 3 weeks ago and has settled into her lovely home like she has always been there. Gemma came to us after she had been surrendered to a pound as her owners could no longer look after her. Even though her life had been turned upside down, Gemma didnt let it get to her. Her happy disposition never wavered - even surgery to remove her eye, which had developed glaucoma possibly due to a past injury to the eye, didnt phase our little treasure. Mum Heather saw Gemmas profile, we organised a meet and greet, a trial followed and Gemma had found her forever home. Here is a little update from Mum Heather :-) Gemma has now been with us for a few weeks and has settled in very well. She likes her walk and is excited to go in the car. Gemma is a perfect little dog for us and we love her. She likes to sit on the couch with us and is good with other doggies that visit. Hope we have her for a long time. Heather
