Our lives are our own stories, and my advice to everyone is to create as many of them as you can. It gives you a more accurate perception of people as a whole. I can assure you, that for every bad cop there are probably ten good ones. One crazy night, about seven years ago, I had taken too many kolonopins and drank enough jack daniels to drown Costa Rica. I was out and about and was called upon by a Birmingham City cop. Now, according to the law, he had every right to take me to jail, but he didnt. Instead, he took me to Montclaire Hospital and stayed with me until they checked me in. He saved my life that night. And many of them do that for a lot of people everyday, but we dont see that side of it. I dont know what happened that night in Ferguson, Mo. I wasnt there. And if you want to buy everything the media sells you thats fine. But I advise you to go out and create some of your own stories, that way you can have a better judgement of the people you are judging.
