Our lives, our government, our jobs, our money, our schools and now baseball. Were so tweaked and programmed at everything we do, or can do - towards robotic efficiency to increase profits. I have nothing against profits, but were slowly losing our natural identity as humans. The one place where we could escape and let our minds relax was baseball. And now they want it, too. Did you ever watch the movie Bull Durham or hear George Carlin describe the difference between football and baseball? Dont let MLB and ESPN take that away. I can honestly say that I never watched a game where I walked away thinking the pitcher took too long. - This rule is being driven by broadcasters, not the fans.
