Our long time community partner HomeFront, who work with homeless - TopicsExpress

Our long time community partner HomeFront, who work with homeless families and families in crisis in the Mercer County area, is experiencing a food pantry shortage this summer. Check your pantry - you may have some items to donate - or pick up a couple extra items when at the store. Even better, go online and ship! Specific needs are: peanut butter, jelly, canned meats such as tuna and chicken, pasta and pasta sauce, soups (preferably low sodium), juices (apple and grape in small juice packs and 1/2 gallon), canned vegetables, shelf stable milk and breakfast bars such as Nutri-Grain, Kashi or others. Items can be dropped off at HomeFront, 1880 Princeton Ave., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. There is usually someone to help unload packages at the loading dock towards the back of the building.
