Our medical director has redesigned the lunch menu for the students attending our prep classes. The new selection includes milk, yogurt, fresh fruits, protein, breads, jams and the introduction of foods theyve never had before (such as grapes, honey and more!) - This was made possible with donations received through our sister charity: Gimme Shelter by their supporter: Valerie Waniowski. Our Preparatory Day School Program for children is a program designed as an accelerated curriculum for a year at which point children living in slum communities and villages will be sponsored into private schools around the city to continue onto higher education. It costs $300USD per year to sponsor a child living in poverty into private school, and such is a major change to the life of each child we provide higher education, as it increases the chances for them to eventually come out of poverty!
