Our ministrys former clinic worker retreat was held at a beautiful retreat center this weekend. They had such amazing people serving us and taking care of our every need. Some of the women in our ministry were so surprised at how loving and considerate the volunteers were. Dont you know what we have done?, asked one of the former workers. The people serving us did know, and they loved us, despite our pasts. Its so hard to live with the knowledge of what we have been apart of. But with every kind word we receive, every person who looks at us with love instead of disgust, we are one step closer to seeing the unconditional and scandalous mercy of Christ.
