Our neighborhood is still too unsafe they are only letting fire crews & work crews in to restore power and to fell damaged trees. Not sure when we will b able to return. My heart is overflowing from the kindness & support of our community of family, friends & friends of friends, and kind strangers. Ive been unable to keep up with thank yous and responses to questions -I feel much is getting lost in the shuffle of this amazing network for that I am sorry please bear with me. I have been receiving a massive influx of clothes, taking what we can use and donating the rest to the Red Cross. I am grateful for all the donations but we have very little room, so I will gladly continue to collect & sort them for others that were affected by the king fire. Weve gotten lots of offers for larger household items but we have no place to store them so we will ask for those things when we are ready for them. I also want to thank Summer for taking the time to set this up for us and I want everyone to know that we wouldnt ask for money unless we truly needed it. Yes we have insurance but we are horribly underinsured. We were in contact with our insurance today and I am hopeful that this will go smoothly and speedy. A million thank yous to those that have donated & to those of you that are sharing our story far & wide every little bit helps. Its a very humbling thing to wake up and realize all the material things that you adored and held so precious to your heart are gone, empowering to realize that you dont need any of those things that you coveted so dearly. Because the fact of the matter is We have everything We could ever want and more because of the amazing people We have chosen to surround us. We are truly blessed. I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides, I honor the place in you of love, light, truth & peace.
