Our new Estate Vineyard going in! 8 acres total, 3 each of CF and MER, and 2 of CS. Located in the foothills of the Blue Mountains next to Tranche Winery, this site has extremely deep, loamy soils, and the wines coming off this site (we currently source CF and CS and PV from the Tranche Vineyard) are later ripening, with higher acids, big structure, and typically dark fruited with classic herbal characteristics as well. Always part of the Archimage and Illusionist, these new plantings will be one of the core vineyards for our reserve program ( along with our 2 other Estate programs at Phinny Hill and Red Mtn. Vineyard).
