Our new dog Tedy has come into our lives and although we have only had him 2 days - he is a joy and very good but challenging. I had forgotten what hard work puppies are - its just like having a baby. We are delighted , however, we are still greiving for Scooby and my friend Angie wrote this lovely poem for us in his memory. I would like to share it:- Thank you so much - for the time you gave For being my friend- when I did not feel brave For loving me always- whatever my mood For wanting so little- as walk, love and food I think of the many miles- together we walked Of the secrets I shared with you-even though you cant talk I will cherish such memories- of the moments we shared How could I show you - how much I cared? I certainly will miss you - Scooby my dear But you will still walk beside me and be ever near. Scooby 6th November 2001 -22nd October 2013 Rest in Peace. We will never forget you. I am crying will I write this but our new dog Ted is asleep as my feet- he seems to understand - the wonder of dogs.
