Our new show venue is now Oswestry Equestrian Centre........We now need to sort a date out for our first show of the season......What dates/time of the year would you like? We are going to be keeping our entry fees very low to try and encourage as many people as possible to have a go at showing £5 pre entry £6 on the day. We are therefore seeking sponsorship £20 per class or £30 per championship or £60 for the supreme championship. Any sponsors details will be printed in the schedule, printed on the rosette tails/ sashes and advertising on our website/facebook. Brief class list Ring 1 Ridden Ring (Indoor) 10am start Class 1 Best Turned out horse or pony Class 2 Give it a go! Open to any horse/pony, to include a basic walk, trot and canter show. Ideal as an introduction to showing, to learn the ropes with the judges guidance. Showing in a relaxed format. Class 3 Lead Rein Pony & First Ridden Pony Class 4 Walk & Trot Class 5 Novice Horse/Pony or Rider (Not to have won 3 firsts) No cantering as a group. ***10 mins break for warm up*** Class 6 Ridden Native type horse or pony (Open to all horses/ponies to be shown in a natural state, although mud is not desired!) Class 7 Ridden Plaited/Trimmed Horse or Pony (Open to all horses and ponies which have been plaited or trimmed (Hogged)) Class 8 Ridden Mountain and Moorland excluding welsh Class 9 Ridden Coloured horse or pony including spotted, duns, palominos and roans. ***10 mins break for warm up*** Class 10 Ridden Welsh Breeds A,B,C & D Class 11 Ridden Hunter type horse or pony (Open to all horses and ponies capable of doing a days hunting) Class 12 Ridden Cob (Open to all cobs ie maxi, show, coblets, traditional and native types) ***10 mins break for warm up*** Class 13 Riding/Sports/Competition Horse or Pony (Open to any horses or pony to be worked within these disciplines) Class 14 Ridden Veteran (Horses/Ponies to be aged 15 years +, special award for the highest placed 19+ horse/pony) Class 15 Best Ridden home produced horse or pony (This class is restricted to horses or ponies that are shown and owned by someone that does not derive an income from any equestrian business) RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP FOR ALL FIRST AND SECOND PRIZE WINNERS FROM CLASSES 1-15 RIDDEN CHAMPION AND RESERVE WILL THEN BE INVITED TO COMPETE IN THE OVERALL SUPREME OF SHOW CHAMPIONSHIP ***FUN CLASSES*** to commence in the outdoor ménage during the lunch break. Fun classes are open to any horse, pony and handler. To be shown In hand, classes are not judged on conformation. There will be no individual show helpers/leaders welcome to assist. £4 per class or 3 classes for £10. No stallions or colts are allowed in these classes. F1. Best Mare & Tail, ponies can be shown plaited or left natural. F2. Prettiest Mare F3. Handsomest Gelding F4. Golden Oldie Horses/Ponies 15yrs + F5. Cutest Face F6. Your biggest achievement! come and show us your biggest achievement in any discipline, bring in a photo of you and your horse/pony same combination that you bring in the ring on the day,( this can include showing , jumping , dressage, pony club, games, or even just getting back in the saddle ect ) be proud of anything you achieve not matter how big or small.
