Our new walkway, finished in fall 2013, survived its first polar vortex last week! LHC worked with 2 Lawrence based businesses - Sorensen Partners | Architects + Planners and the Tompkins Corporation - on this project thanks to funding from a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the City of Lawrence. We could not be happier with how the walkway looks and with the improved accessibility to our main building it provides! If you get the opportunity to work with either group, we highly recommend it!
