Our next leader certainly needs to place engaging focus on the people, peoples agenda would be sacrosanct, peoples views must be held in high esteem, peoples verdicts are non-negotiable whilst on-going consultations with the people must be paramount. Our next leader must of necessity be on the same page with the people, transparently honest in representations & engage the people at every opportunity. Our ideal leader must always have ears to the ground as-far-as and including all the wards in Delta State. Our leader must practice fiscal responsibility by balancing our books, rendering true state of our accounts as-and-when-due, cutting our coat according to our size or rather if our size is too big; tailor our coat according to our resources. To cap them all up, our electorate must be respected, celebrated, trusted, encouraged and always courted. All these could be tall orders for your run-of-the-mill politicians, but not the front-runner Dr. Festus Goziem Okubor who dovetails into all these exponentially. However, what skill-set stands OKUBORISM out from the crowd ? What is that extra factor that is attributable to OKUBORISM that other gubernatorial aspirants in all lack ? Put simply; Why OKUBORISM ? Why 2015 ? Why now ? Apart from OKUBORISM candidacy ticking boxes of all indices as earlier enumerated; anticipated Government would be in-situ in 2015, in Delta State . This makes the need for a trail-blazer & path-finder who is very astute and adept, does not need to learn the ropes, would be in a natural comfortable habitat and would always side with the people. He is the only aspirant with that consummate intellectual grounding which when factored into the mix with impressionable attributes like articulate oratory, matured temperament, enriching political experience, aptitude to absorb wide-ranging logistics, un-usual humility & un-diluted loyalty; left with a multi-faceted, multi-talented & multi-dimensional OKUBORISM that is able to set the ground rules, map-out parameters for development, set our standards very high and most importantly,build on the solid foundation of the present administration.
