Our next meeting of the Bluegrass Chapter is set! We will gather on 21 February at the Four Point Sheraton, 1938 Stanton Way, Lexington. Social half hour at 11:30, speaker at noon, lunch at 12:30. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Brett Morris (LTC, US Army Retired). Dr. Morris last duty assignment was as the Professor of Military Science at Eastern Kentucky University. He later returned to EKU to serve as Associate Director for Veterans Affairs where he launched Operation Veteran Success to help returning combat veterans make a successful transition from the military to college. He was named the Director of Admissions at EKU in 2011. Eastern Kentucky University’s Veterans and Military Affairs Program has been recognized as one of the nation’s best in its initiatives to help vets further their education and adapt and succeed on campus.
