Our north of Ireland DNA group is firming up. We now have three independent lines matching on 12 markers in haplogroup I2b1. One has a paper trail back to his 17th century settler there, believed to have come from Scotland. They are best seen on the Religious Denominations map https://sites.google/site/bowessurnames/m/ireland/1901-census-ded-level/1901-census-bowes-bowe-by-religion and the Farmer Index North map https://sites.google/site/bowessurnames/m/ireland/1901-census-ded-level/1901-census-farmer-index-north
