Our note to County Employees today: Dear Colleagues: Thirteen years ago today America came under attack. September 11, 2001 is a day we will never forget, nor will we forget those who died and were wounded that day. We urge you to spend a moment today at your desk, in your car, or at our 9/11 memorial, or wherever you are to stop and think, meditate or say a prayer in remembrance of what happened on that bright, sunny morning. If you want to choose a specific time, here is a timeline of what happened. At 8:46 a.m. Flight 11 hit the north tower of the World Trade Center. At 9:03 a.m. Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower. At 9:37 a.m.. Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon. At 9:58 a.m., the South Tower collapsed. At 10:03 Flight 93 crashed in Shanksville, PA.
