Our number is 304-972-SNIP if you know of a colony, or caregiver who needs help with S/N in the jurisdiction of the Huntington animal shelter. We do ask is caregiver can make a donation toward the cost but its not required, but we pick up, fix, and return the cats to the caregiver. Cats MUST be feral or community cats--- NO PET CATS at this time. We also are in desperate need of a foster, or two, or four for a couple of grown cats and a couple of kittens who need adoption to avoid going into the shelter where they face certain death. Two need medical care, which our grant does not allow so if you would like to donate, you can do so through our website hcwshelterfriends.org (just choose general fund and specify vet bills), or direct to our account at the vet. Just call 304-972-SNIP if you would like information on which cat, which vet. We will have to know by two today if anyone can help. The grown cats will go to the animal control if we cannot help them-- we are NOT a rescue. We have to have fosters in the local area so we can get the cats to adoption events, in order to help these cats.
