Our officers are appealing for witnesses after a disturbance outside Mambos Nightclub on Queen Street in Peterhead. Officers were called to the area at around 1.30am on Thursday 6 March 2014. Several people received minor injuries during the incident. Local Policing Inspector Andy Imray said: A disturbance took place and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened. We are committed to keeping people safe and this incident will be fully investigated. We are following positive lines of enquiry and those involved in this incident can expect to be dealt with robustly as conduct such as this will not be tolerated. Our message is clear, we want people to have a good time when they are out but to do so responsibly and we will continue to work closely with licensed premises and partner agencies to ensure our communities are safe environments for people to enjoy themselves. We would appeal for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
