Our own Hayley Nugent, along with her newborn son, Jack, will be featured tonight on the WHO TV Channel 13 News news at 5pm. Jack’s story is being featured to raise awareness for National Prematurity Day. Jack was born at 25 weeks, 15 weeks premature, weighing 1 lb. 11 oz. and is being cared for in the NICU at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines. Over the last 12 weeks Jack has made tremendous progress. He now weighs 6 lbs. 3 oz. and is healthy enough to come home this week! Please tune in tonight at 5pm to see their incredible story.
