These boys did an exceptional job and showed bravery, nerve, love of traditional turkey day rivalry and sincere want for this game. Being there and hearing them plead to the school board to reconsider still sends chills. They were polite, well spoken and very very direct to continue the game - on its respective day. We core group attending applauded and stood up for them. I only wish we could have had the same respect from ESHS Board to have listened to our 2 attending seniors that also wanted to speak Monday before being shut down. Im beside myself and ashamed of what our school districts have become towards family, traditions and relevance. Please stand with us at these meetings and help fight to keep TD. I fear if we lose this hard fought fight. We lose TD forever. It means more than tossed into the trash.
