Our parish celebrated its second county title yesterday, as our Mens junior footballers won the championship in Parnell Park – well done to Craig keogh and his squad. Playing against a strong breeze in the second half, we held our 6 point lead until the final whistle and took the cup to Killinarden. The lads did us proud, taking their place alongside our Ladies team as Dublin champions this season – an amazing achievement by both squads. We offer our appreciation to St Colmcilles who contributed to a cracking game, and showed real grace in defeat – we thank them and offer our best wishes for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, our Ladies footballers bowed out of the Leinster championship on Saturday, losing our by a single point away to Simonstown Gaels of Meath. Thanks to our hosts for a sporting game, and we wish them good luck in the rest of their campaign. Best wishes to Nichola Murphy on a speedy recovery from an injury received during the match. U10s played a thrilling match v St Marks during the week, well done to all involved, thanks to our guests for a sporting game. Our Club hosted 4 teams taking part in the Cooper U14 All Ireland Camogie Championship Blitz on Saturday, well done to Tyrone, Mayo, Meath & Westmeath who played in Killinarden and displayed some excellent Camogie on the day. Club Lotto: no winner of €2200 jackpot, numbers were 11,13,23. 2 x €20 winners: P Pujolas c/o Gerry & Pat Fox c/o Pat, thanks for your continued support. Keep up to date with our club Facebook page.
