Our party continued until after midnight last night (with a two hour midday pause for me to bring Baby Squirrel to a wildlife rehabilitation center in Chalfont, where he immediately received arnica and pedialyte and a prognosis of possibly all right) so I didnt get the chance to say yesterday: Thank you, SO much, to all of you friends who came out to celebrate Oliver (for over four hours!!). It felt at the same time like a celebration of all that was good and cozy in our world. Weve found a beautiful nest of family friends in PA and we are filled with gratitude for each of you. Also, in the slight sweet mayhem that followed, presents were opened in such a crazy manner that we werent always able to link each gift with its giver. Some have also been appropriated into the houses toys already. So if youd like to *ensure* a thank you note, safest bet is probably to nonchalantly work into conversation what you gave. ;) Totally not awkward.
