Our prayers are with senior Brandon Chancellor as his dad passed away this weekend after battling sickness for several years. Brandon is Northsides SGA President and is beloved by our students. The funeral arrangements are: Visitation will be held at Green Hills Funeral Home (1621 South U.S. Highway 29, Troy, AL) on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be held at Zion Chapel Baptist Church (27057 Highway 87, Elba, AL, 36232) on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. High school students who would like to attend the funeral Tuesday will receive an excused absence from any classes missed. (Students will need a signed permission note from a parent.) Anyone who would like to ride in a caravan needs to meet in the back parking lot of campus at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning. Basketball players who attend the funeral will need to make their own transportation arrangements to Tuesdays games. They need to let their coach know if they will be riding the bus home after the games or if they will be driving or riding with their parents.
