Our prayers do not have to be eloquent, perfectly crafted words. God sees the heart. He responds as a mother responds to the cry of her child, drawing us close and bringing forth provision from His breast. On those days that we feel no emotion as we pray, He is still moved as we pray according to His Word, for He is moved by His Word, by faith, and by agreement His purposes. Though the earth in its fulness is His, He does not usually impose His will, but gives the gift of choice, just as He did with Adam and Eve. As we pray, We are asking through our gift of choice for His will to be done in our circumstances, for Heavens culture to invade this earth realm, and for revelation of Jesus to illumine hearts. Prayer matters! Prayer makes a difference. Whether two hours before our day or when we are in line at the grocery store, when our hearts are calling out to God He hears us.
