Our precious Millie took her last ride Wednesday. Due to kidney failure and her back legs giving away after 17-18 years of fence jumping, we had to let her cross the Rainbow Bridge. I brought Millie home from work one night 16 years ago. We were going to clean her up -- she was infested with ticks, matted and malnourished -- and find her a good home. And we did -- ours.
