Our precious Peyton is officially on the schedule for surgery Tuesday morning. (The 18th) I dont have the time yet. I will know more by Friday afternoon. I am told this will be an open heart surgery whether they will be able to fix both problems or not. Hoping they can fix both issues while theyre in there so that she hopefully wont have to have another surgery later like originally thought. Peyton is 5 weeks old today, so shell be 6 weeks old the day after surgery. Needless to say, I am scared out of my mind, but obviously she wont live w out this surgery, so I am READY. I am ready for her to start feeling better, for her to start breathing more normally.. not so fast and labored.. and completely on her own.. for her to be able to learn to eat, and be dressed and kissed and touched and talked to w out having to worry that its too much stimulation for her... all this that I have affectionately been calling THE HOME STRETCH!!! We are SO almost there baby!!!! Please keep praying for this sweet angel baby Peyton and for the rest of us as well. Thank you all so much!
