Our preference is that Utah accept the Medicaid expansion offered under Obamacare. But if it won’t, then the Legislature needs to quickly OK Healthy Utah if the feds OK it. This is an important issue. Many, many fellow Utahns, the most vulnerable among us, are being hurt, placed in health care limbo because the dominant party in Utah is still in a snit over Obamacare’s passage. If the Utah Legislature fails to use the money to provide all Utahns the health care insurance access they need, it will demonstrate a callous attitude toward the people, whom incidentally they serve.
