Our problem spiritually in Sydney is reflected practically in the world we built. On the other side of the planet people are starving and are so poor they are naked, while we are the most obese nation on the planet and spent enough money on clothing and luxury goods last year that we could have solved the world hunger thats killing them... Luxury goods. This is insanity. The church needs another conference, another feel good service, another sermon on better living, like I need another burger, whisky and pants with an elastic waist. I might enjoy it, but I am fat enough without it, and its part of what is killing me. Its time to preach.
