Our programming follows 3 phases... Base, Build and Peak.. Which is all geared around the CrossFit Games Open Season which is coming up in the next few months. We are currently finishing our BASE phase, which some of you may have found not as exciting but there is a method to the programming so thanks for sticking with it! The BUILDING phase will be starting in a couple weeks where you will start to see more typical CrossFit movements and workouts leading up to the Open. But we cant let out BASE phase go without reward, so we are planning on doing an in-house Powerlifting Competition scheduled for Saturday, Dec 14. All those 5-3-1 lifts youve been doing, you will now get to see how much your lifts have gone up by testing your new 1RM at the competition! We are getting actual Powerlifting Judges from the MB Powerlifting Assoc. to come judge your lifts. Dont worry, its all in the name of fun, and you wont have to wear a singlet or be in a specific weight class. We just want it to be a fun morning of lifting and showcase all your new found strength! So save the date: Saturday, Dec 14. Exact times TBD but start time will prob be around 9am. We want you to be excited about this!! All your hardwork will shine this day and there will even be prizes for best lifters!! There will be a sign up sheet at the gym, so be sure to write your name on there and well see you on that Saturday where you will lift heavy things up and then put them down!
