Our relationships are like sandcastles upon a shore. We know that a wave will eventually come and destroy it. Yet... we keep rebuilding them. Are we hoping to one day succeed or are we addicted to failure? Is searching for love just another futile attempt to fill our time until the day we die? No... I am not crying. I have a piece of sand in my eye. -Found this in one of the many notebooks that I use to randomly write my thoughts. Normally I dont share these personal journal entries, but this one stood out and had to share it. I may not feel the same way that I did when I wrote it--Im sure some of you out there feel this way now. However, I have learned that each relationship built and lost to the storm-tossed sea of life shapes us and teaches us how to build better, so one day we can reach the point where no wave can wear us down.
